Discuss the causes and fixes for P2107 Ford OBDII Code
-
I have a 2008 Ford F-150 XLT 5.4 Triton Crew cab. It's throwing me 2 different codes. 1st code is P2107 & the 2nd code is P2110. By searching on your website I've found the possible fix. Which hopefully will save me tons in auto shop repairs. Your site indicates that the possible fix is to upgrade the TP sensor from gen1 to gen 3 or 4. I am also at the same time replacing the thermostat due to a P1028 code that indicates the thermostat is not operating properly. It's not over heating. The P1028 code suggests that the thermostat is not opening all the way. I'm off to the local parts store to purchase both a new thermostat & a gen 3 or 4 TP sensor. After the install, I will get back & let you know how everything goes. Wish me luck guys!!!
