2009 Toyota Corolla U0100 code problem

Question

The car only cranks but not starts. Already checked the crankshaft sensor, coil, fuses, but no spark at all. I scanned it and obtained a U0100 code, after deleting it, the car started briefly for a couple of seconds, and went off again. Any idea how to solve the failure?
