What do I do about a U0100 code

Car was cranking fine was diagnosing overheating issue went to start engine and nothing all lights on in instrument panel red light just blinks all the time

You could have a stuck open EGR valve, but if the valve is OK, then you probably have a bad Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
