Why do i keep constantly replacing the camshaft sensor?

I have replaced my camshaft sensor twice in the last 2 years and and my check engine light is on with the same code again and I just replaced it last 6 months could something else possibly causing that to go bad and by the way it's not a manufacturer part it came from an auto parts store thanks

Depending on which code you are getting for the cam sensor, it's possible there is a problem with the variable timing solenoid causing the code. However it's common on these cars for the electrical connections to have issues. It's also possible the aftermarket sensors are causing the problem.
