Question

2010 Volkswagen CC not idling properly. Engine Light Came on. Stopped at gas station. Added 1 quart oil. Still not idling properly. Stopped at Napa --- ran diagnositcs -- came up with code P0011.

This code is for the cam timing over advanced. This could be the result of a faulty cam sensor, IVT solenoid or an actual problem with the mechanical timing. Because it's running rough I would check the timing. Also, check the engine oil level. Low oil can cause this code.
