p0011 and p0014 code

Question

I've replaced the camshaft solenoids with aftermarket parts (Dorman) and have installed new filter and oil. Car was to mechanic and electrical checks out and timing chain is OK. Why am I still getting the codes? Mechanic said its possible that i have to use GM Factory parts.
