I Have CEL with code P0661 on my 2004 Honda CRV LX 2WD, please advise

P0661 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve Position Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

Probable Causes:

- Open or short circuit condition

-Poor electrical connection

-Failed IMRC position sensor

The Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRCV) is positioned in the intake manifold on the passenger side. It is not easy to get too the Power Steering pump and the Alternator are near it. The Control solenoid is bolted to the head right near the fuel rail.

The IMRCV is spring-loaded open. When the engine starts, vacuum is applied to close the valve. When the solenoid is energized, it shuts off and dumps the vacuum to the valve.
