"P0661 Honda Description
The Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) valve position sensor is mounted on the IMRC valve shaft and detects an IMRC valve position. The IMRC valve position sensor includes the brush that moves with the IMRC valve, and it has a linear signal output in relation to the IMRC valve position when sliding on the board. The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the IMRC valve position sensor voltage which represents the IMRC valve position. If the output voltage from the IMRC valve position sensor is higher than a set value, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored."

Is this statement correct? "If the output voltage from the IMRC valve position sensor is higher than a set value, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored."

The description of the P0661 code states "low voltage". I take this to mean that the sensor voltage is lower, not higher, than a set value. What am I missing?

Thanks - GTS
