1998 Chevy S10 pick up with 30,000 miles. What do codes P0171,bank 1 and P0 174 bank 2 mean?

ses light on. repaired. 6 hours later ses light on again.  Does this mean more repair or just a reset? Should a truck with only 30,000 miles be having this trouble?

HI there,

These codes mean both banks of the engine aren't getting enough fuel. This is usually a result of either a bad fuel pump or sometimes intake manifold leaks after the mass air flow sensor. It is possible the truck, even with low miles might have this type of issue, especially a fuel pump issue as it's clearly sat a lot. I would check the fuel pressure.
