Must I replace the Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor before my 600-mile trip?

The fuel tank pressure sensor is part of the emissions system and won't cause a driving issue with the vehicle. There may be some other problem in the system causing that code to come up, but the car will be safe to drive even with the light on.
