Have a P1494 and P1196 reading for a 2001 Jeep Grand Loredo V6, which sensor do I need to replace to fix this?

Hi there,

These are 2 completely different codes.

P1196: This code is referring to the heater circuit of the heated O2 sensor. Bank 1 sensor 1. This is the first O2 sensor in the exhaust system before the catalytic converter. Most of the time the sensor itself is the issue.

P1494: This code is referring to the leak detection pump on the evap system. Testing the wiring and the pump itself is required to determine the cause of the problem. Also, the evap system should be checked for leaks using a smoke test.
