I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L with engine code P1494, but the EVAP is OK

Not sure what you mean by "evap ok"

This code is for the leak detection pump function. The evap may not have a leak, but it doesn't mean the LDP is working as it should. Check the wiring and the pump for mechanical failure. IF there isn't any issue with the wiring or the pump, the pressure sensor may be the cause of the code. If it's doesn't change when the LDP is operating, you will get this code.
