I've had this van for almost 6 months and I've changed the plugs and wires twice, the oil twice and just replaced the coil pack, fuel filter and MAF sensor. Also has brand new air and cabin air filters. With all that I've managed to get more power from it and it runs smoother than before. But it frequently shuts off when I'm driving. It doesn't matter if I'm on a straightaway or turning, accelerating or stopping. Fast or slow, when it takes a notion it just dies. Usually fires right back up but not always. It's pretty dangerous! The check engine light comes back on after clearing codes almost immediately with the codes P0171 and P0193. I've checked for vacuum leaks and everything seems fine. I would check the fuel pressure but don't know where the port is on the fuel rail (if it has one) any knowledge/help you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Considering the codes you're experiencing, it's highly probable that replacing the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor is necessary. A malfunctioning Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor could trigger the P0171 code and potentially lead to engine performance issues.
