I have a 1995 Nissan Centra. Two days ago my fiance and I were in the car he was driving and we were going down the road when the car suddenly shut off. We got it off the road and had to wait a few minutes before it would start again. We made it home with no more problems. We did stop at O'Reiley's and they said it sounded like the crankshift position censor needed to be replaced. So we replaced that and yesterday we were driving & it did the same thing while we were sitting at a red light. I forgot to mention that after it happened the first time the check engine light did come on & it stayed on until the guy at O'Reiley's cleared it. It hasn't come back on but we're still having the same problem. What could be wrong? The guy at O'reiley's also said that his scanner gave him the error code p13 or p1320 (something about coils?

Hi there,

This code is for the primary ignition. On this engine it's either the distributor or the ignition coil. The cam sensor is inside the distributor so if it's leaking engine oil, it could cause the car to stall and not restart.
