I got P0A80 error code

Question

Hybrid Toyota camry 2007 model. I got that code using my OBD. My car runs of engine only. won't switch to hybrid. My mechanic told me to change the main ECU. I am not convinced after he recommended i change the Hybrid battery module but the problem still persist.
What are your recommendations Please?

Have you cleaned the cooling fan? There is a factory service bulletin for that problem. Plee see "Tech Notes" on the code page.
