06 Toyota highlannder hybrid 2wd
I bought this when not working. My father helped replace converter/inverter and transmission both were used. Vehicle worked fine for about 6 or 7 months now i get this vsc and check engine light on and car goes into limp mode does not get almost any traction. I pull over reset the code turn off the vehicle and wait for about 5 mins the car then gets traction and i get to move again. This is only a temporary fix, after about 80 to 100 miles the code comes back on. And same thing, i have to reset and wait a few mins to get back rolling. The problem started on a snowy day and for some reason i feel like a connector is wet. Any Ideas or recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Scanner tells me drive motor "a" position sensor circuit.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen that problem before, and I checked a national database for your model and code, and there is nothing either. Here are the 3 things the factory service manual recommends:

- Wire harness or connector
- HV transaxle assembly (Motor resolver)
- w/ converter inverter assembly (MG ECU)
