i have a 2000 f150 5.4 recently it was runnuing crappy, so had all new plugs put in new coil paks, new maf sensor iac sensor and cam sensor, it ran well after the work, then all of a sudden the ck engine came on , so i stopped and shut off vehicle aand restarted it ran as if it were missing , went and had the codes read , i was getting coil pak error codes on both banks 5 of the 8 cylinders plus error code po174.so after the error code check i started back up and it ran ok like nothing wrong so i went home shut off vehicle for a few hrs. so then on start up again it started the missing again, so i turned the switch off a few min then restarted and it quit missing. i went and had the codes cleared then the codes came right back same exact ones,so is this what they call a intermittent short ??? where would be the most likely place to look for the malfunction.is there a main place where the wires that may be broke where it effects both banks, could it be a sensor. also is THERE A RELAY THAT COULD BE BAD????
