5volt reference A malfunction in my 2003 buick lesabre what do i do?

Vehicle maximum speed is 40mph at 2.5 rpm. Seems like fuel pump or filter issue but diagnostic reads malfunction, what do do?

This depends on the code that is set, the 5 volts is also a shared with other component that can be shorted and shorting the 5 volts refference
