2004 Suzuki swift. Car sort of ‘stumbled’ for a moment, engine light came on (flashing) and when I read codes got p0700 (tcm malfunction and ‘random missfire’ . At the time it was -24 outside and had driven approx 25 miles. Car wouldn’t shift into 4th gear on the way home, and seemed to struggle for fuel if I stopped and tried to start off again. Engine was replaced approx 20000k ago, and this is the first problem i’ve Had. Not sure if i’m Supposed to replace the TCM module or what else may be needed. Where do I begin?

Vehicle: 2004 Suzuki swift 1.6 autotransmission

HI there

You will need a scan tool that can communicate with the TCM. This code means there is a code stored in the TCM and it's asked the check engine light be illuminated.
