I have replaced cam sensor crank sensor valve gaskets spark plugs to no avail car still runs rough idles like it's going to die and hesitates when you step on gas. Literally on my way to work 2 weeks ago my car went from running perfect then got to a red light and started shaking and CEL came on. What should i look at or check next?

P0340 cam sensor bank 1 is going to create long cranking before engine start I never seen engine rough because of this dtc but am not saying is not possible anyway make sure to replace the correct side like if you are seating in the car bank 1 is the pass side or if is a front wheel drive bank 1 is the one closer to the firewall also check oil level if is too high engine runs rough if is to low create p0340

Hi there

This could indicate a problem with the timing belt itself. I would check the timing to see if there is a problem there. It will cause the cam sensor code to appear.
