The P1298 error code in a 2000 Honda Civic typically indicates an issue with the "Electric Load Detector Circuit High Voltage." Replacing the Electronic Load Detector Unit is necessary to repair the problem.

Hi there

This code is for the oil pressure sensor stuck high. If the alternator is losing voltage it's usually a problem with the voltage regulator
