My car jerked before dying on the freeway and I got the code p0340. I changed the sensor and my car turns over but won’t start. What do I need to check or fix to get it going again?

HI there

If it's still giving you the code for the cam sensor, even after replacement, check the timing belt. if the belt has jumped time or if the belt is broken the car won't start and you will get a code for the cam sensor.

I'm having the same problem in my 99 dodge durango. And I've already changed the position sensor. Still won't start. Was the timing chain or belt your problem?
