How do I fix a hard shift on my 01 hyundai elantra?

I am having a hard shift after the second gear. My check engine light is showing code 1529 for the TCM. I have had this problem a few months ago, so I replaced both of the speed sensors. It seemed to work for a few months, but it occured again today with a really rough shift at the 2nd and 3rd gear. It appears to shift to overdrive and then stay. Have any suggestions?

Vehicle: 01 hyundai elantra 1.4 liter
