Lean code condition are when there is more air than fuel. or lack of fuel pressure / volume. There is not much vacuum hose leaks that can cause the lean code, but you do have a PCV that is attached to a rubber hose, a cut there would allow unaccounted air,  Then there is the intake gaskets that can develops leaks Then there is the fuel system a fault fuel strainer allowing debris into  the fuel pump lower its capability to provide adequate fuel pressure. One component that is very often over looked is the sparkplugs, Depending on the engine size they require a specific brand and that requires a specific gap. If the gap is over the required gap it leans out the combustion performance.
