2007 Chrysler 300 6 Cyl, what is the ESIN?

I checked the gas cap and it was loose. I then re-checked it later in the day and the engine light was still on. I have a friend that works at a Chrysler dealership as a mechanic and his first thought after researching the error code is that it is the ESIN component. Checked at the Auto Zone and they have never heard of it.

This code is for a large evap leak. If you found the cap loose then it was the issue, but it won't just turn the light off. It takes time for the computer to perform another evap test and determine the system is no longer leaking. With this code you would have to clear the code which will turn the light off and then go from there.
