Will a p1800 code keep the car from running or starting

No this would not prevent the engine from starting in order to set this code the engine has to be running.

What I mean by set, is this code would turn the CK ENG LT on. what Nissan does not set this code, P1800 is always seen , if your charging system is overcharging it set a P1800. if its under charging it set a P1800. what it never does is prevent the engine fromstarting.
