We replaced the water pump and thermostat, tried to start car. Car would not start. Acted like it wasn't getting fuel. checked and then replaced fuel pump. Car now tries to start but will not turn over. Had friend put on his computer; threw out p1800 code. we want to make sure this is the part that needs replaced. not much money to put into it but daughter needs her car.

No, this code would not cause the car to start., the only possible way is that it shorted and opened the ECM relay fuse.
