the light came on when it was lightly raining one night. I was getting on the interstate and was running about 75mph when the light flicked on. I haven't noticed any change in the performance of my maxima. I pulled the codes and only the p1800 showed. I let the car sit for 5 days and drove it this morning and nothing. car still drives the same as it did before the light came on. I don't want to start replacing the sensor and everything if it was just a fluke. but I haven't noticed any change in hp or torque from the car. jw if I can get any inputs on this.
HI there
Most of the time you will only feel any change when the engine is under load at low RPMS. This valve opens the plates inside the intake manifold when the computer see's it's needed. This will not damage the engine but under load and low speeds you may feel a loss of torque and pickup.
