No signal for the starter. There are several reason , this can be from the gear selector,to the  anti-theft to the starter relay to even the IGN fuse being open, when the key is in the ignition is there any message such as BUS OFF. ?If there is it a good chance that the IGN fuse which is part of the fuel pump fuse and horn may of open. If this is a anti-theft concern remove the IOD fuse with the key out of the ignition. wait 10 seconds replace the IOD fuse and check to see if it starts. There another way this would determine which direction to do more inspection. There is a starter relay. remove and open the cover, there you will see a switch. replace the starter relay without the cover and get a non metallic probe such as a tooth pick, with the key on, parking brake on collapse the relay contact , if it cranks this tell you that the relay fuse area is good and more inspection to the ignition switch to relay is needed.
