over heating after replacing thermostat

on my 2004 chevy venture i replaced the thermostat i replaced the water pump and it still runs hot after it goes for bout 6 minuts please help

Vehicle: 2004 Chevrolet venture v6

6 minute is a very short time to have it overheat, when it gets hot , turn the engine off, feel the radiator and see if there is any cold spot , radiator can be plugged.
