My Infiniti start just using the jumping cables after a a while turning the lights

Car won't start until I used the jumping cables but dies after turn the lights and have the code p0340 on

This code is for the bank 1 cam position sensor. This can cause the car to stall, however it sounds like you have a problem with the alternator. Once the car is started the alternator should be powering the electronics. If turning the headlights on is causing it to stall then the alternator is not charging as it should.
