Question

Engine will not start after replacing the cam position sensor on a 2001 dodge intrepid SE 2.7L V6 the code that I'm experiencing is P0340.

if your battery is fully charged,

 

you can check the wiring to the cam sensor 

 

If the wiring is good the problem might also be the crankshaft position sensor 

The crankshaft sensor is on the passenger side of the transmission housing, above the differential housing
