Changed my MAF sensor but my car not performing like before.

Hi I changed my MAF sensor but my car is not performing like it used to. Car is no picking up the speed after I press the accelerator. Do I have to scan the car after installing the new MAF because after installation of new MAF the engine check light is still on...
Car doesn't speed up above 120kmph.
Please help me with this problem.

Vehicle: 2007, Skoda, Octavia 1.9 tdi rider

That can just be the problem a new MAF may just be faulty,
