Would vais control valve cause my Infiniti I-35 to have trouble starting

Question

My car will turn over and seem to want to start but just dies out . If I do get it started then drive it for a few it runs fine. The code I'm getting is 1800 which is vais control solinoid which you can't buy from AutoZone or part places is there anywhere I can get this part quickly as I need my car fixed . The only place I can find it is eBay and it says anywhere from July 18th to Aug. 7th and my question is would this cause my car to have problems starting ?

Hi there,

This code and the VAIS won't cause any issues when trying to start the car. It's only active when the car is running and at low speeds where torque is needed.
