What would cause high idle at around 30mph

It does fine when starting to accelerate but around 30 mph it starts to idle high like its in neutral when in normal drive and gear 3 but in 2nd gear does fine.

Vehicle: 2005 GMC Envoy Sle 4.2

The transmission may have started slipping. Start by inspecting the transmission fluid level and condition.
