Will P0133 code cause the van engine to shut off while driving

Question

Vehicle start puttering and shut down when driving for more than 1.5 hours and will only re-start after about setting for 30 to 45 minutes. Would like to know if this sensor is associated with this performance.

This should not cause the car to shut down. It can cause some sputtering and possibly some other issues, but stalling is not usually one of them.
