I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra, the check engine light is on but after my mechanic reset the codes the only one that comes up twice is the p1705. Originally it was the p1705 and the code for the crankshaft position sensor. I had the throttle position sensor switched but the code came back and the car still shut off.

The throttle position sensor would set if the engine just shut off, and you would set a throttle position code because the car was running when it shut off, If the crank sensor was setting you would just do the CKP. if you have not done that already,
