p0455 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0L does this cause the car not to start or cut off? my car won't turn over

P0455 Evap system large leak detected

No, it should not be related to a no start situation. There a slim chance that it can because P0455 if there is a open fuse for the canister purge valve.it shares the same fuse for the MAP sensor. without the MAP you would not idle good.
