P0455 sensor keeps going off on my 2010 mercury mariner. It has no gas cap just a 'fuel port'. What could the problem be? I bought the vehicle used and having tried twice now fueling and clearing the sensor and it keeps coming back on.

This code is for a gross evap leak. This could be any number of issues and not having a gas cap it's very possible the seal is no good on the fuel port. What you need to do is have a smoke test done to determine the spot that is leaking, then do the repair accordingly.
