So i pull into Pennzoil for oil change, upon leaving I immediately notice flashing Icon(check engine) I turn around and have the code P0302. Was not on prior to entering oil change> Pennzoil of course states it is "nothing we did" Has anyone heard or seen this before. I checked the basics listed with no change
Vehicle: 2010 Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5 HO V6

These commonly happens and every repair shop will experience this situation. In a lot of situation there is a pending code this is where the PCM store a code and because it is not fully matured the CK ENG LT does not come on until the next ignition cycle if the fault is still present. Every vehicle has a depreciating condition , just like your shoes wear our, tire wear out brake pads wear out, a clothing you wear suddenly rips. What happened in your case the ignition coil suddenly went out.

 These are ignition coil Replace the offending coil that is set, If you want to make sure it is a ignition coil you can swap the number 3 cylinder with another working cylinder if the misfire moves replace that coil. In a brighter light at least you were not in a far ,far away place.
