problem in shifting

Question

I am trying to get answer ,about my  2005 toyota corolla 1.8 and A/TM 02 A245 E , one of the shift. solenoids doesn't work !
 my question : if i' coneckt scanner to it :would it show wich one is bad ? best regard  John  Popjevalo

First check your fluid to make sure its not low or dirty. Then have a mechanic test it to see if it throttles in the right range. If it does then it would likely be the torque converter. And there is only one solenoid
