how do you clear a code so it will pass emissions

I had a p0421 code but took care of it im just afraid the code will still be in the PCM when it goes through emissions

You can check to see if the code is pending, a Pending code means that code has not reach maturity, Plus if the monitor are set , and the catalytist has pass, there should be no code setting for P421
