I removed cover to replace air filter and forgot to plug in the sensor that is attached. After cranking car the fan continued to run after I turned the key off. I noticed the sensor wire was not plugged in so I plugged it in and the fan stopped. However, my check engine light came on. Went to local Advance Auto parts store and the codes pulled were: P0097,P0102,P0113,P11C2 and P2228. Car runs ok. How do I clear the codes without taking it to a shop and paying $75-$100 for them to clear the codes.
