How to fix it

Already replaced fuel pump. Got code p1603 when hooked up to computer and it will crank but wont start how do I fix this problem

P1603 go to the battery terminal on the positive side there is a fuseable link along the Red/white wire check to see if that has open up. if that area has a open circuit  repair it, , disconnect the negative side and always reconnect with the key out of the ignition , and the negative terminal last to be connected.
