p0402 code wont go away .

Question

I have tried egr tests changed the vacume thing its part of egr tried a temp senser been reading up really don't know I just need to know what fix wont pass inspection where is siliniod or transduser

Hi there

This code does point to an issue with excessive EGR flow. This could be the result of vacuum to the egr when it shouldn't be there. If you replaced the egr solenoid and still have the issue, check for a wiring issue that's holding the solenoid on.
