I installed the 78works custom tail lights today ...at first it didnt went on...but after i installed the resistors, and plugged in all the wires ,then the VSC ABS Brake lights went on....
wondering wat could be causing this problems?I scanned the code is says C1249..it says open circuit in stop light switch circuit...

Could it be the bad resistors???or i installed wrong?but all lights are functional and working though...
or could it be blown Brake light Fuse?

It the resistance, the ABS system searches for open circuit , short circuit , grounded circuit, the resistance change the voltage, one of the step for this code is measuring the stop switch fuse, having the resistance bring it out of specification. There been cases when this code was set and the problem was different application of the brake light . how it was forced on and worked  is a mystery
