It has been diagnosed with codes C1236 and C1143 intermittent, I have been told to purchase a nearside rear driveshaft, it is the magnetic ring not the toothed ring, would this solve the problem or is it something else, I've cleaned the ring and it looks okay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Some make and model of the Kuga do have wheel speed sensor, inspect that before going any further on the left rear wheel

Thanks for replying. I have checked the sensor and it is okay, when I disconnect the wire the lights come on and when I reconnect they go off so I've got to asume it is working right.

When you did disconnect that sensor what was the code, the reason I ask you are not setting a code for the driveshaft sensor ,your setting a wheel speed sensor.
