I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 litre this car has new battery , all been tuned up new plugs , cleaned throttle body , replaced 02 sensor , daughter goes to school 80 miles away from home driving the highway I made sure her care was safe and good to go for the winter months . She has been complaining about excessive cranking and not firing , went on forum NISSAN , and they have said one way valve in fuel line to keep fuel system primed , I feel this is not necessary but I watched her start the car and I told her you start the car hold the key until it starts period , no there's a code after both sensors were replaced , quality part too ,

Hi there,

It very well could be an issue with the fuel pump, however if the battery has been disconnected and there hasn't been a throttle relearn done to the throttle body, it could be that it's not setting properly when she goes to start it. Also, do not rule out the crank sensor completely. Unless you actually got the part from the dealer it could still be causing the problem.
