One day my vehicle threw a CEL code P0335 and I checked it and installed a new crankshaft position sensor and it immediately fixed the CEL and my car performed back to normal. 2 months later my car had a crank but no start issue. After it sat for hours only would it start and when it did start it drove fine and there were no CEL codes at all. I checked for spark on my coil on plugs and none of them had spark. Now my car has a crank but no start issue along with the CEL code coming on once again with my car hesitating at 60mph or more like before I installed the new sensor. I decided to test the power and ground voltage on the sensor connector which checked out fine. I tested the wave voltage on the blue signal wire and that showed no voltage as I hand turned the crank pulley. Which tells me the new sensor is bad... did I just get a faulty sensor at the parts store or is something causing even new sensors to fail only after a few months of being installed?
