Changed battery. Will now crank but won't start.
Mechanic said he got codes P1614 and P1610.

Find that this has something to do w/ key but we've been using the same keys for a long time.

Can't afford to take to (possibly dishonest) dealer in area.
What can we do to get this van started?
Vehicle: 2006 Nissan Quest, 3.5L

Try disconnecting the car battery for about 30 min and reconnect, then insert the key and turn the ignition (without cranking) for about 5 minutes, then crank the engine. If the engine doesn't start you have to have the key reprogram. You don't have to go to the dealer some locksmith shops have the tools to reprogram the key for you.
